The Shawl Collar is made up of two shaped labels joined at the center back. Made up mostly of the knit stitch, this is a great project for all skill levels. Some basic crochet is needed to create the ties. Because The Shawl Collar is really just a scarf in a fancier outfit, you can pretty much use any yarn your heart desires. Using a bulky weight yarn creates the oversized design you can drape and shape differently. I recommend a beautiful yarn made by one of my favorite local yarn shops.
Finish this piece over a weekend.

Let your garment soak in cool water for 5 to 20 minutes. Air on the side of cold. I like hypo-allergenic woolen solvents like Eucalan or Woolite. Rinse under cool water and squeeze out the excess water. Lay flat on a clean surface to dry.
